Call me an idealist, but I believe cross-cultural understanding is a pillar of social harmony. With years of holding communications roles in North America combined with my understanding of Asian culture (worth the years I spent suffering in the humid Asian heat), I help bridge the gap between our clients’ goals and Asian culture. I’ve helped brands grow their web communities with punchy copywriting; won an award for my journalism work while working in rural Saskatchewan among the fields of gold; implemented public engagement projects for audiences of over 10,000 members for political and non-profit clients; and managed an Asian outreach program for a conservation organisation.
Born in Asia and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and with previous stints in Francophone Canada, I can order myself a Mai Tai in three languages. I hold a B.A. in Economics from the University of British Columbia. Outside of the office, you’ll find me hiking up a mountain while belting out 80’s Mandopop songs, slightly off-key.
