June 2 2014 — 2014 was a banner year for the Leo Awards. With record entries resulting in three nights of celebrations, Sonny Wong and Hamazaki Wong continue its successful heritage as producer and marketer of the annual film and television awards program. Attracting a who’s who of the BC film industry, the Leo Awards are the largest regional awards program in Canada. This year, Hamazaki Wong was instrumental in launching the first Leo Awards People’s Choice Program for Favourite Shot-in-BC Television Show and Favourite Shot-in-BC Movie. For 16 years, Hamazaki Wong has contributed to the success of the Leo Awards, along with its longevity.
