Sonny Wong has been re-elected Canadian Vice-Chair of KCTS 9, the PBS affiliate in British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest.
“Sonny is a leader and has a passion for public television and the millions of people he serves from eastern Washington (Yakima) to Seattle to Vancouver BC. Sonny led the efforts of the Canadian board members to speak for the unique needs of the Vancouver region while concurrently working with the KCTS staff and leadership to accommodate the needs of the other KCTS communities as well,” said Doug Picatti, outgoing KCTS Advisory Board Chair. “Of all of Sonny’s attributes, I appreciate his ability to make the group he serves better.”
