With the changing demographics in the BC market, the BC Marine Trades Association has embarked on an initiative to introduce the Chinese community to the boating lifestyle and boat ownership. Hamazaki Wong led this effort by creating a Chinese website, online resource materials and a web marketing campaign. Following on this, Sonny Wong and Lilian Chen participated in the BC Marine Industry Conference by delivering a plenary session introducing the new site and the strategies that contributed to its creation, including opportunities for the future. Thus far, response to the site has exceeded expectations. Welcome aboard!
