Hamazaki Wong’s Campaign for Air Canada Wins Integrated Gold Award for Multicultural Marketing at the Marketing Awards!

Hamazaki Wong’s campaign for Air Canada recently took home the only Integrated Gold Award in the first-ever Multicultural Marketing category at the Marketing Awards!

The Awards were held June 15 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. Out of over 120 entries from across Canada, Air Canada’s campaign was judged to be the best, and in the words of the awards Co-Chair, “set the bar for future entrants.”

Because no one had the opportunity to give an acceptance speech, here’s what we would’ve said:

“We would like to first thank Air Canada — and the entire team we work with — for their support, confidence and trust in us, and for allowing us to create this campaign. It’s a tremendous partnership that’s endured for over 14 years.

Second, we’d like to thank the team at Hamazaki Wong, without whose creativity and inspired thinking, this campaign wouldn’t have been produced, Indeed, they’ve consistently created award-winning work and this win at the Marketing Awards is a testament to that.

Finally, we would like to thank Marketing Magazine for their foresight in establishing the Multicultural Marketing category. It’s truly a category whose time has come.”
